Chong Chom International Point of Entry, Gateway to Indochina

Chong Chom International Point of Entry is situated at Kab Choeng District, Surin Province, the Kingdom of Thailand and the border of O’Smach International Point of Entry, Samrong District,  Oddar Meanchey Province, the Kingdom of Cambodia was the biggest and most important border market in the south of Northeastern. It became the International Point of Entry since the 1st September 2002. The crossing point is only 70 kilometers from provincial town and opens 07.00 A.M. - 20.00  P.M. Everyday. It is known as an ancient Khmer route connecting Prasat Phimai, Nakon Rachasima Province; Prasat Phnom Rung, Burirum Province; Prasat Tamuan, Surin Province, in Thailand through Chong Chom Crossing Point to Ankor Wat and Ankor Thom, Siemreap Province in Cambodia. At Chong Chom International Point of Entry, there will be required Passport and Border Pass in order to cross the Thai - Cambodian border.
